I was an avid watcher of American Horror Story last season, never missed an episode. You can imagine my disappointment when I found out the new season did not include all of the same cast. But according to a review by Chris Conaton it is for the better. Conaton thought that American Horror Story was cliche but fascinating at the same time. The first season was based in a haunted house and showed the effects it had on the family that had moved in there. The second season American Horror Story Asylum has brought the insanity to a whole new level. It still includes a couple of the original cast members, but the new members set the story for a whole new plot of events. Asylum includes even more cliche horror aspects by including aliens this time and not just ghosts and killers. I was a little weary about watching the new season because it did not continue with last seasons storyline. But Conaton made it sound interesting and exciting, I also feel caught up after reading his review. I will definitely be tuning in tonight.

This article definitely fits the time of year. I have never seen American Horror Stories up until this year. It has been on T.V. a lot lately and with it being the Halloween time of year I have been watching it whenever I can. I dont know if the ones on T.V. recently are new or are from last year, but the ones I have seen have kept my attention and American Horror Story is something I will watch in the future.
ReplyDeleteAmerican Horror Story to me is a little hard to enjoy the full effects of it being a true horror story due to the fact of being on TV. But I enjoy the show after starting it this season. The plot is very creepy and twisted at times and parts of it are truly scary. I like the show and the casts' portrayal of the Asylum and the insanity that is brought about. I will be tuning in next week because it does draw you in.
